#np - Hangin' Tough by New Kids On The Block
I'm posting this song after a fun conversation via facebook with some high school friends of mine about our early-in-life crushes. The list included Jake Ryan (from 16 Candles), Knox Overstreet (from Dead Poet's Society), Jonathan Brandis, Donnie Wahlberg, the boys of NSYNC, and Andrew McCarthy. In junior year, my AP US History participated in a massive voting campaign to have Hangin' Tough at the top of the TRL (MTV's Total Request Live) charts on a specific day. We found out about via email forward and spent our entire class voting online and forwarding the email to everyone we knew. This was pre-facebook. The song made it to #2 and it's one of my proudest high school accomplishments.
